Small Shop ( with one to under 15 items)
Two questions to consider when setting up an e-commerce site. How are you going to maintain your products on the website? How do you entend on processing orders?
Cincy Web Design can set up your e-commerse store to coordinate with a variety of different shopping cart software programs. One economical option to think of using is PayPal**. This is good if you only have a couple of products that you want to sell. You do not have to set up a merchants account, they handle all of that for you.
Medium to Large Shop ( 15 to 100 items)
This option is for the shop owner that is wanting to get a little more serious about selling on line. This option is included as "part of one of our *hosting plans offered by our sister company Cincy Web Hosting. You can have your domain and website hosted at www.yourdomain.com with a completely functional shopping cart, and secure credit card processing.
This option offers a complete backend webpanel so that you can enter products into your store and maintain your own online shop. You are also able to control the look and feel of your shopping cart, to coordinate with your website design.
Larger Stores (100 items or more..)
For larger options, we will have to sit down with the store owner, and detemine the best software option to go with. Each shopping cart software program offers different features, and matching those features with the clients needs is the key. For this option, the client will need hosting for their website, along with a SSL hosting, for secure online transactions. This requires a Security Certificate from one of the main Certificate providers, such as Verisign™,
Thwate™, or Geotrust™. Also needed will be and online credit card payment gateway. If you do not already have a merchants account, then we can help get you set up with one.
